Postage and packing
Postage & Packaging Costs for deliveries within the U.K are FREE OF CHARGE for all full price items. £4.00 P&P will be charged on items that are reduced.
Our normal despatch period is 5 to 7 working days, weekends and bank holidays are not classed as working days, using Royal Mail recorded delivery service. Parcels must be signed for and cannot be left in the porch, garage, shed etc. Orders should be received within a maximum of 14 working days. Any claims for lost goods will not be entered into until after 15 working days from despatch.
We do not pay the postage costs of returns.
Please note that we endeavour to check that the quality of all orders shipped meet the high standards that our customers expect.
Delivery
On receipt of your order and payment clearance we will despatch your goods as described above. Once goods have been despatched we will advise you by email.
If your chosen goods are out of stock or no longer available we will advise you by email.
If we cannot meet your requirements we will credit your method of payment.
In the case of orders greater than 1 pair of shoes goods may be despatched at different times.
Please note that for any items that are returned to us by Royal Mail as uncollected from their sorting office, we will not provide a second free delivery for customers who would still like the order. We will contact the customer for the delivery charge before we despatch it a second time.
VAT Charges
The price is inclusive of any payable V.A.T. in the U.K.
Payment
We accept the following major credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Solo, Delta and Visa Electron.
Your credit card details are encrypted by Nitrosell and are held securely on their server. Encryption takes place both before processing and when stored on the database. Credit card details are never held in a clear format. We use REALEX payments to manage our transactions and Elavon to authorise them.
Privacy Policy
Shaw-hallas.co.uk values your privacy and the information we collect. We will securely store this information and only you will have access to it using your user name and password. You should keep your user name and password safe at all times.
Warranties
You warrant that the information entered onto the Order Form is true.
Where we sell to you under a consumer transaction (as defined by the Consumer Transactions Restrictions on Statements Order 1976) your statutory rights are not affected by this agreement.
Returns
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return it within 14 days of receipt in its original condition and packaging (eg box). We will refund the product price, but we will not refund postage costs. We reserve the right to impose a £5 charge (or otherwise where deemed appropriate) if the goods/box are returned in a condition that we deem unacceptable for re-sale. The box should not be defaced or damaged in any way.
Please make sure the shoes are a good fit before they are worn. We cannot accept returns once the shoes are worn unless they are faulty.
Returns can be taken back to our retails stores. Please take proof of purchase with you when returning items.
Please ensure your name and address are clearly visible on the return form.
If you require an exchange please give us full details of your requirements.
We recommend that you obtain proof of delivery for your return as we are not liable for goods lost in transit.
All shoe and foot care products are non returnable.
Please note unless the description states otherwise our shoes are not waterproof.
